Some people, after going through the drive-thru, park for a minute to make sure their order's right before they leave. Maybe that's who these spots are fore?
If you order something at a drive-thru window, and it isn't up for handing out immediately, the person at the window will direct you to a parking space with that sign, so the people behind you in the drive-thru line are not held up, and the staff person who brings the order to your car when it's ready knows where to find you.
logophilius - I have never been to a Rally's, though that is rather humorous...a place for people who have walked to the drive-through to park their asses while they wait for an order.
Laura Payne...yep, I think you're right that Linda Seebach is right. Apparently I only ever order easy things, since I've never had that happen. (Though usually I just go in.)

come to think of it, doesn't Rally's have parking spaces for walk-up customers?

This reminds me of a sign I saw in a mall for some kind of drink. It read "Strawberry Lemonade Forever (line break) Limited Time Only"

KellyK - I know people do that but I think that Linda Seebach nailed it on what the parking spots are for because I have had this happen.
Linda Seebach - See above.
Jen - Humorous play on "Strawberry Fields Forever" though you are right, it doesn't work when the lemonade is being served for a "Limited Time Only".

Also, "for" not "fore" in my first post...yeesh.
